Hallo,

I tried your solution and it's working well. But for example now it's 09:07 
here and texmacs write 9:7 in the footer. I used the following date string (I 
got from man date)
<date|%e. %B %Y %R>

In the date man pages it's explaind that %R results in hh:mm, also %k:%M 
results in 9:7 instead of 09:07.

How can I change this behavior?
