I'm a newbie to TexMacs, but, I encountered the same problem. This happend because I
installed MikTex after installing TexMacs. The order of installation should be to first install
MikTex first and then install TexMacs (atleast that is what worked for me).
If you already have installed TexMacs, try removing it and please remember to remove the
".Texmacs" directory under your home folder. Removal of .Texmacs directory is very
critical. After that, install MikTex and reinstall Texmacs. Hopefully it should work.
Thanks,
Ansari

Hello,
first : thank you for answering me, :-)
Second : in reply to your questions :
I have installed WinTeXmacs on several computers : at home, at a friend's and at school (4 computers) ; total : 6 computers.
These computers works on Windows XP, excepted for two of them : Windows 98.
By the way, it seems that TeXmacs doesn't work with Windows 98, but it's not very important (for me !)
Talking about my font problem (when editing a section), i must say that, actually, i don't have installed XemTeX on these computers, so TeXmacs works "alone"...
So, what do you think ??
Thank you,
sincerly yours,
Richard

Which last one?

There might be something wrong with the font installation,
but that is strange, since we ship the fonts with TeXmacs under Windows.
Please tell us which version of Windows you are using and
what installation you did (TeXmacs alone, also MikTeX, etc.).
Thanks for your feedback, Joris

P.S.: please write to address@hidden for questions about WinTeXmacs.
