I am not sure the result is worth the efforts. This is not a trivial task.

I think the only way is to hack maxima-input.scm.

Copy all files into proper directories in, say, 
~/.TeXmacs/plugins/mymaxima
edit them to your heart's content, and start mymaxima sessions from 
TeXmacs
