I'm not mathmatian so I could be quite wrong... be warned ;-)

Although 'sin x' looks good most of the time, I prefer to write 'sin(x)'.
Specially if I'm working with a CAS. Maxima gets easily confused if you don't
type parenthesis.

Again, I prefer 'sin(x)*d-tab-tab-x'.
