Hello,
I realize that TeXmacs gives you quite a bit of freedom on how to typeset expressions as opposed to LaTeX, but I'd like to hear what other users might recommend as "standard practice" for some expressions, above all since TeXmacs serves as a front end for CAS (which I haven't yet tried). Here are two specific cases:
1) arguments of functions. Say, is typing "$sin x$" ok?
2) the _expression_ after an integral sign: is "sin x d-tab-tab-x" ok? "sin x*d-tab-tab-x"?
If you have some recommendations on other kinds of _expression_, please share!
Thank you and regards to all,
Martín
