Thanks for pointing me to the seminar style.

One of the cool things I saw with Microsoft Powerpoint is that I need
not display the whole slide completely. I can display two bullets of
one slide first and then press the arrow key and the next bulleted
item or an equation comes up on the same slide. I do not know what the
technical name for this. So I cannot search in google on how to do
this. Is this same as switches that the manual talks about? I have not
tried switches yet, I am still trying out the seminar style and seeing
whether it fits my needs. Any ideas on this feature?

In this case, I am making the presentation from my laptop, so I know
for sure that texmacs is available. But thanks for pointing it out
anyway.
