You're rigth, my previous answer was totally wrong. I was thinking in
equations and I meant TAB instead of F5.
But, inside a theorem when I type F5 and then W, I don't get an Omega.

I get this behaviour inside an equation. In that case to get what you want,
go
to Mathematics -> Text, press F5 and then type W.
