- Subject: Towards an association for free scientific software

Hi all,
After a few months of overactivity due to the birth of my son Niels,
I am slowly but surely getting back to work on TeXmacs.
One of the first things that I want to do is to create an association
which should help us with the financial aspects of TeXmacs (donations,
selling manuals and CD's, etc.). Since other free software projects
might share similar needs, I decided to broaden the scope of such
an association to more general software for scientists.
I just started to put our information together on the Wiki of April
(a French association for the promotion of free software).
http://wiki.april.org/AssoScienceEn
If you are interested by our initiative, then please help us with
the construction of this Wiki (and in particular put your name on
the list of people who are interested).
Best wishes, Joris
