Thanks, Henri. I got texmacs up and running under cygwin. BUT when I startAhhrgh...
sessions with Maxima or Axiom or R, texmacs goes down with a segmentation
fault.
Has anyone else experienced this??Not me, at least (I'm running under Linux ;-). Perhaps (if it is not
too long) could we try to diagnose the problem a little bit :
-> Are you able to start Maxima or Axiom or R directly from the
command line (i.e., from the DOS prompt). If not, it is a possible
cause of the error, and solving this problem is likely to allow
you to run later Maxima or Axiom or R from inside TeXmacs.
In any case, it is useful to know that nor Maxima, nor Axiom
nor R are part of the TeXmacs distro : you must install them
independently ;
-> Could you please post the messages written by TeXmacs
on the MS-DOS console from the time it starts till the
time it crashes ? (i.e., when you run TeXmacs from the
command line, it prints things on the screen : it is these
things that we need to know to understand better what's
happening) ?
