In my case, the problem was solved when I updated my distro from SUSE 9.2 to
OpenSUSE 10.1.
During the updating process I found out that I had bad RAM --the 512 Mb
didn't
pass the Memory Test. I have only 256 Mb now :-( --. But, I don't think that
this is related with the libc problem.
