there is no problem to use alpha style on my computer at all, but I have to change the bib style to the one similar to the natbib.

As I said, if the bib style you want to use provides more features,
it will probably not work in the current version of TeXmacs.

Thus, bib styles similat to natbib will probably not work. The
ones which will work are rather the ones which only provide you
with only a different syntax for the references (styles like plain,
alpha, abbr,...).

This being said, changing the style is extremely simple, it is just
a matter of inputting its name when you do Text->Automatic->Bibliography.

But I don't know how many style types available in the current Wintexamcs version. could you give me some information.

As I said before, TeXmacs uses bibTeX for doing the job. Thus --provided that the style
is completely standard-- (and natbib and natbib-like styles are *not* standard in this
respect), it should work, this is completely independent from TeXmacs.

Anyway, everything I ever knew about bibliographies is explained in :
Help->Manual->Automatically generated content, paragraph 4 : "Compiling a bibliography".

Hope it helps,

Henri
