- Subject: texmacs' speed and debian packages

Hi,
since i destroyed the messages about this subject i have to create a new
one.
I installed the last testing debian version on a dreamlinux small
laptop. This version of exmacs runs as fast as the 1.0.6.9 version i
have on my desktop with gnome-etch. I wasreally pleased, because when i
first tried texmacs a last year, it was to slow on my poor laptop ...
By the way, when installing this testing version; i thought it would
depend on texlive and not tetex (as it is stated when i want to upgrade
my etch 1.0.6.9 version), but with dreamlinux (wihc is between stable
and testing), it relies on tetex. Is it normal ?
