Hi,

I also had this problem of starting an unwanted print of the document due to accidentally hitting <F4>. My workaround, (in KDE), is to open a Konsole window, do su, <password>, lpc disable all, exit. Then nothing can print. Then when I want to print something, I do the same, but with lpc enable all.

Best regards,

Hello!

Does somebody knows how to disable the shortcut <F4>? (So that my
document doesn't get printed every time I hit F4 instead of F3 while
trying to save it)

Thanks!

One simple way to do this is to directly change the line:
[[
("F4" (print))
]]
in src/TeXmacs/progs/texmacs/keyboard/texmacs-kbd.scm

For such an annoying thing, you can afford changing TeXmacs
source code, all the more because this one doesn't seem to
be modified very often (CVS says : last modified on 08/20/2006).

Or you can simply change
Preferences -> Printer -> Printing command
to Other... kprinter

so that when you hit F4, the KDE Print dialog box (kprinter) shows up and you can select a printer or cancel.
That's what I did when I was under KDE.
Now that I use Debian/Gnome, I don't know the command for the print dialog box... Does anyone know it ?
