Hi,

i could reproduce what you said doing $ESC i $ join ENTER


but was unable to do it via \math etc ... : i enter in math mode, then
type \ ENTER then type JOIN and ENTER ????


By the way, i asked some time ago for the french symbol used in middle
school to write circle's arc AB : the only solution was to put a \frown
above AB, but the parenthesis created looks smaller than the AB. Using
unicode how could i choose to use a "long \frown " ?
