ok Thank you Martin
it works
with alt clic i get the third clic, that is to say the "paste"
my question is now solved.

i can not get the other ones, ctrel clock has no effect
and clic on tracpad with two fingers neither
(would have be fine, if the conceptors of x11 (and mac os X) had let the possibilité to configurate this manually)
but there are so many texmacs shortcuts that do not work under my mac os X texmacs
i am waiting that my pity internet connexion let me completely download Paul's work, then i will compare shortcuts under debian and under mac os X
maybe i have not parametered something properly

hi everyone
i find very useful this "clic on the molette" or "third button" of the mouse, that correspond in texmacs, to "paste"
i use now a macbook with out mouse, i use the trackpad
on these nex apple trackpad, i discover that two fingers touch of the trackpad is equivalent to right clic
ok
now, does anyone know a way to "third clic" with an apple trackpad ?
i find difficult to configurate the keyboard in texmacs; and if now i also lose the copy paste shortcut, nights will be short -:)

The standard mouse button emulation in X11 on the Mac is

alt-click = button 2
cmd-click button 3

This is not only for the trackpad, but also for the classic one- button (or rather zero-button) Apple mouse.

There is a preference setting in X11 "Emulate three button mouse" that needs to be active for this to work.
