Hi

I have installed the chinese support for TeXmacs following the steps
on http://www.texmacs.org/tmweb/download/fonts.en.html , with the
tarballs on my ubuntu jaunty 9.04 , according to my repository the
texmacs version is 1: 1.0.6.15-1 . After several reload with
command : texmacs --delete-font-cache &

it s seems that chinese input works fine .

I then try to copy/paste some chinese text from yudit editor and from
my terminal , then it give me some strange number in place of the
chinese words . I try to import my text into texmacs but all chinese
words are replaced by some strange number (like this u6cd5 )

After open another texmacs , I wrote several chinese character (using
fctix ) and export my file into /tmpt/testutf8.txt and openned with
yudit and firefox , and all character seems fine , the utf8 export
seems working good . to be sure I just did this command :

gnu@robby:~$ file /tmp/testutf8.txt
/tmp/testutf8.txt: UTF-8 Unicode text, with no line terminators

As i have a lot of chinese text file encoded in utf8 and I dl'ike to
format it using texmacs ,

Does somebody know how can I use the import and copy/paste fonction
with on texmacs with utf8 support ?
