Hello,

In maxima plugin, it will cause the following error:

<%i1> h: if y>1 then 3-y else 1+y;
incorrect syntax: Found logical expression where algebraic expression
expected

h:SpaceifSpacey>1

if use "if-else" or block to define a function.  

Maxima-5.23.2 with ecl-11 and Maxima-5.23 with gcl-2.6.6 tested.
Any suggestion?
