I'm using TeXmacs 1.0.7.10 and when I generate my bibilography I get the error:

TeXmacs] Generating bibliography [bib, tm-plain, Multiplate.bib]
/nix/store/vcfla7fqprx60vr5vi2zahzr4n6mgy3a-TeXmacs-1.0.7.10/share/TeXmacs/progs/bibtex/plain.scm:519:27:
In procedure cdr in expression (cdr (bib-field x ae)):
/nix/store/vcfla7fqprx60vr5vi2zahzr4n6mgy3a-TeXmacs-1.0.7.10/share/TeXmacs/progs/bibtex/plain.scm:519:27:
Wrong type (expecting pair): "Kagawa, Koji"

I don't know what is wrong with my bibtex:

@inproceedings{Kagawa:1997,
author = {Kagawa, Koji},
title = {Compositional references for stateful functional programming},
booktitle = {Proceedings of the second ACM SIGPLAN international conference
on Functional programming},
series = {ICFP '97},
year = {1997},
isbn = {0-89791-918-1},
location = {Amsterdam, The Netherlands},
pages = {217--226},
numpages = {10},
url = {http://doi.acm.org/10.1145/258948.258969},
doi = {http://doi.acm.org/10.1145/258948.258969},
acmid = {258969},
publisher = {ACM},
address = {New York, NY, USA},
}

Why is it expecting the author to be a pair?
