hi

i have created a great picture (grande figure)
in it i have put this :

an explanation text
a table (tableau) containing 4 cells

* graphic 1 * graphic 2 *
*******************************************
* description 1 * description 1 *
* with hyphenation * with hyphenation *
* centered * centered *
*******************************************
-------------------figure 1------------------------------

my two questions are

1) how can i center (format/paragraph/alignment/center) the "explanation text"
i know how to center a text on a line, but here it seems not to work

2) how can i reduce the width of the interline in the "descrpition 1 with
hyphenation text" ?
i can not understand what is the means in texmacs for creating line break
instead of new paragraph
the html way to say it would be : pressing enter or shift enter create a <p>
in texmacs, how can i create a <br>
