Hi,
Sorry I don't understand well this : Is the sage plug-in adrian's ? or is there a multiline plug in ?
I use sage quiete a lot and I am very pleased with the job that it does : integration of pic with size modification with sage, as I don't want pictures in external windows, i replace show(p+q) by plot(p+q,figsize='4,3)) and I got what I want.

Hi all,

Are there some people who have tried Adrian's plug-in,
so as to confirm whether I should use it as a replacement
for the current plug-in?

I posted a preliminary modification of the sage plugin that does

The plugin still embeds 2d plots into texmacs if the plot is the last
thing returned. There are many things I want to modify, but at least
multiline works...

I have installed BOTH maxima and xmaxima 5.26.0-2 with Fink on MacOS 10.7.
plot2d works fine from within TeXmacs and outputs to an Aquaterm window
outside of TeXmacs.
It's not possible for the moment to output directly to TeXmacs though I'd
like to have the choice.
As for Sage, show() does not work here either, neither does multiline input,
but that's another problem...

Hi,

With sage image integration works fine :

just plot(sin(x),figsize=(4,3)) and a nice smal graph in embeded...
I would like the same with maxima ?
i can't get it working ? why ? gnuplot does work too... But i thaught that
maxima use gnuplot do display graphs ?
I forget with sage using show(p) doesn't work either (but doesn't matter i do
change show by plot.
Any help ?

kind regards,
Henro
