Hi,
at the moment there are two real options for Kindle based ebooks with math.
Option 1: you just reformat your TeXmacs file to A5 page size and export as a pdf. In this way you end up with a nice looking scalable document on normal kindle devices. I use this for my courses and my students are very happy with it.
Option 2: you are going for the new Kindle format which supports SVG images. This will only work on the last generation Kindle devices after the upgrade.
Best,
Peter
Using HTML with images and transforming those looks horrible afterwards.
My advice is: use PDF export also for epub. The implementation of the epub standard varies much between devices and whatever you do, it will look different on different devices when you employ more advanced features like formulas.
Yours,
Ingolf
