The following two formulas (which may express the principal filter
corresponding to a lattice element a) are rendered differently:
<math|\<uparrow\>a>
<math|\<uparrow\> a>
What of the two is correct?
When we place two English letters, denoting two math concepts, nearby they
must have a space.
But with anything other than English letters, it is unclear when to put a
space and when not to.
There must be done two things:
1. Explain to the users when to use spaces.
2. Modify TeXmacs to deal properly even if the user is a moron.
