I suppose you speak about Sage pugin. Then, I guess it is possible. You
should write a png_out() which could send to TeXmacs a scheme tree
containing an image tag (fyi, the "raw_data" format is simply a binary
buffer converted to an hexadecimal string).

Who currently maintain the sage plugin ?
