            That procedure haven't worked well on my debian.
            But,by tracing next steps
            
            Insert mathematics
            Equation
            Insert a Greek character
            
            then I can have made \delta_1 succesfully typed as desired.
            I've made it also,for instance
            \[ \sum_{i=1}^5 \delta_i  \]
            
            But,though I press Meta+W and then Ctrl+Y,
            these cannot be copied and pasted to another TeXmacs-maxima terminal
            (or another line in the same terminal)
            just as it is displayed.
            When copied,the above example is displayed as
            tmsum(i=1,5,delta[i])
            
            Is there any way to copy and paste just as it is displayed ?
