Dear all,

Thank you for being patient with me...
Here is my problem: i would like to use an alias for big operators
such as the <big|cap>. What I do does not seem to work.

Here is what I try to do:
-Create a new file
-Set the document style to "source"
-Create a new macro using a "big operator" such as
<assign|union|<big|cap>> or <assign|union|<macro|<big|cap>>>
-Go back to the "generic" style
-Insert an equation
-use the new macro inside the equation
-add subscripts and superscripts
The subscript and superscript won't go under and above the symbol.

Is there a way to make this work?
