Hi,

this seems to be an issue with Yosemite. See here:

https://support.rstudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/203815576-RStudio-PATH-problems-with-OS-X-Yosemite

Until a nicer workaround is found you may just open from the console with

open /Applications/TeXmacs-whatever.app

Best,

Hi,
thanks for your answer.
You must be right about the path issue :
-> I’ve erased the System/ folder in ~/.Texmacs before restarting it, but every session still appears as « Dead ».
-> Sometimes but not always, trying to start a python session will result in a dead session and the line
"sh: tm_python: command not found"
-> On the other hand, python and maxima work normally from a terminal window. And if I launch TeXmacs with a command line from within the terminal, the python sessions work again (but not maxima)
Moreover the maxima line in the "sessions" menu shows an arrow (as if it were containing a submenu and not a session) but no submenu opens and it does not do anything (not even a dead session).

I can run sessions alright. Maybe your PATH is no longer correct? The plugins directory is where it should? Or some problem with macports/homebrew whatever?

Hi,
I cannot get any session (maxima, python…) in TeXmacs 1.99.2 since Mac OS Yosemite upgrade, although I’m not positive it has something to do with the upgrade. Sessions work fine with 1.99.2 on older versions of Mac OS on another machine.
Does anyone have the same problem ?
Thanks
Julien
