While I am not a hard core coder, I can usually hack my way through simple stuff, however TeXmacs seems to constantly confound me when creating macros.
For instance. I am trying to create a macro to properly align variables and operations for a 2x2 system of equations like below.
I have created a .ts file in the proper directory for style packages in Windows (c:\users\michael\appdata\roaming\TeXmacs\packages) and have created some simple macros that work.
What I am trying to do is make the macro process as simple as possible. First I start out in a regular Texmacs Window, Create a displayed equation, use the Table menu in math mode to input a Stack, Do structured adds to make 5 columns, then set all odd columns to right justify. Viewing source I get
.
I would like to be able to copy and paste this code into an Assign, but nothing seems to work.
I have tried using Assign with Macro in various combinations but no luck.
Some time ago I did a similar modification of the eqnarray* environment and only got it work but looking up and modifying the eqnarray* code directly. I can still do this but am looking for a shortcut.
