Problem solved.

It turns out that TeXmacs 1.99.2 was the first version to use
the function named-color->xcolormap in the LaTeX exporter, but
the 1.99.2-src.tar.gz did not include the definition of this
function.

TeXmacs 1.99.4 does include the definition in the C++ source
and everything works fine.

There has to be an automated way to avoid this kind of
mistakes.
