I've been building my own package of texmacs for quite some time now using the Subversion check out. What you do with CD into the src directory, then ln -s packaes/debian . Then run dpkg-checkbuilddeps, install what's missing,  then run fakeroot debian/rules clean binary.

Hi,

the experimental package dosn't launch in non of my ubuntus (15.10 and 16.04). The most recent tar.gz doesn't lauch in 15.10 but, ô miracle !, it launches in ubuntu 16.10 ,but i can't use Alt+e for enumeration, Ctrl+X for cut and so on ...
So i decided to compile texmacs in ubuntu 16.10. It compiles, launches ... and the same behaviour occurs : can't use keyboard shortcuts to enumerate, itemize, save, cut copy for example ...

So, in my ubuntu 16.04, texmacs doesn't work at all.

Do you have any idea of what i have to do to get the shortcuts ?

Thx,

Marc
