Awesome. I can't wait to try it. I have the start of a project on github: https://github.com/KarlHegbloom/zotero-texmacs-integration
I'm too busy to work on it right now. Perhaps in a few months when I've time for it we can collaborate?

Anyone using Zotero and Texmacs?
I wrote a very basic Zotero extension that takes the element(s) selected in
Zotero and inserts the corresponding <cite> tag in the current texmacs
document on a single click.
You can get it from mozilla :
https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/zotexmacs/
and the installation instructions (along with the source code) are here:
https://github.com/slowphil/zotexmacs
It should work on any platform. Any feedback is welcome.
Happy Texmacs-ing!
Philippe
