Hi TeXmacs users:

I use GNU/Linux and I'd like to open .tm files calling TeXmacs from
external applications, as emacs, by means of xdg-open. The problem is
that a new instance of TeXmacs is launched each time I use xdg-open.

The question: is there a way to communicate with a running TeXmacs
to ask it to open the file xdg-open sends?

I've searched on the net for answers but without success.
