thank you i discover with this document the possibilities of \with

littel question : the attributes generated with this \with seem to be non modifiable by the same way ? when i put the cursor at the right of some "withed" text, and press the key corresponding to "erase the caracter at the left", it usually give access to the parameters (for images for example or for \key) but if i type :
<with|par-mode|right|some text>
then i can modify this "right" only at the little tool-windows at the top but the <with|par-mode|right|some text> does never appear again.
why ?

I think this is due to the fact that the standard behaviour is to need to modify the included text and not all the parameters of the with command. This is the common operation. So to access the other parameters you need a different command, in this case provided by the GUI.

question about enumerate :
ok, i can create an enumeration
1.abc
2.ghi
3.jkl
quit it to put some normal text
then create a new enumration starting with <assign|item-nr|3> and i will get
4.fds
5.fds
6.dsq
wonderful
but now if i modify the first list, putting a new element 2.def
will 4.fds become 5.fds ?

in other terms, does it exist soemthing like  <assign|item-nr|max number of the last enumeration> ?

I do not think so, but I think you can save the enumerator in a variable at the end of the previous itemize and then reassing it incremented at the beginning of the next. maybe you can even write some macros who do it automatically for you.

best

hi everyone
i have two enumerated lists, and i would like the numerotation to go on thought some part of text that is between the lists

1. first list
2. dsqdsq
3. dsqdsq

some text

4. second list
5. dsqdq
6. dsqdsqd

of course, i can do shift+enter after "3.dsqdsq", then write my text, then press enter and the 4. appears
but that's not satisfying because the "some text" will be indented and will take the formating of the first list
i have searched thought the "focus" menu, the cursor being in the first list, but nothing like "continue numerotation from..." appears in this menu

is there a solution ?

thanks
