Hello,

Sorry, I don't know what happened that day. There seems no difference now. It seems that I need to input a space after A_{inf}^+ to adjust the spacing.

Best wishes,

Hi Frank,

 I do not see any sizeable difference. I attach a screenshot.

Dear all,

I am a newbie confused by spacings in TeXmacs. I define
<assign|Ainfp|A<rsub|inf><rsup|+>>
in the Preamble, and input

<math|<Ainfp>=<Ainfp><around*|(|R|)>

in the main text. The spacing between subscript and the left parenthesis seems to be very tight in comparison to a direct input

<math|A<rsub|inf><rsup|+><around*|(|R|)>>
I wonder what's wrong with the variable assignment above? Thanks for helps.
