Hi Max,
I feel that this is a fair criticism. I am using the latest public version of
TeXmacs on a reasonably recent, higher-end MacBook Pro (2017). When typing
fast in an fresh document and with the default style, the keyboard can be
approximately one word ahead of the window. This is in the same ballpark as
500-800ms.
Personally I don't mind, but I understand that some users might find it
sluggish. My understanding is that the old scheme language is to blame for
this?
Basile.
