Yes, I would try as suggested. On the mac you can also remove the directory

~/.TeXmacs

Hello,

This looks like a problem of fonts. No ordinary text is shown.

Click [Menu] Document -> Source -> Edit source tree.

What's shown there?

Maybe it is also good to try to delete the font cache: start the TeXmacs with command line parameter --delete-font-cache

Best wishes,

Frank

What is the problem? On my machine it seems ok, there is a boldface title which does not show up in your screenshot.

Is it there but transparent or there is nothing there for you?

hi i am new to TeXmacs : we are a cuple of students of Vincent (from this list) who have decided to try reading/editing Vincent's tm files instead of just receiving his pdf
but i encounter a pb
here is an example
<Edhec_2010_exo2.tm>
<Capture d’écran 2020-04-29 à 18.12.35.png>

this tm file opens properly, Vincent says, on his mac (TeXmacs 1.99.12, Mojave os X.10.14.6)
but on my mac (same config) it does not open (see screenshot)
thanks for your help.
