hi againBasile and thanks for responsing

well i am not sure iunderstand your answer but i am aware the thing i am looking for may enconter some difficulties

my first question is : is ti possible to insert some paragraphs in french (with french typography) andothers in german or any language, that is to say : mixing languages inside one document, is ti possible ?

ma second question wanted to try tofind somesolutions, for example 2-columns documents but i'am okay it is certainly not very efficient

my aim si to have at the left (of thepage, of the doublepage, of the paragraph, of a table, of anything) one language, and at the right one other language

maybe I am missing something obvious but I don't see how to keep the paragraphs aligned across the pages unless you use some sort of two-column table…

hello
i am working on french/german maths documents for a project i have with german teachers
imagine a book where left pages are in french and right pages are in german
that's what we would like to create within TeXmacs
questions :
- it is possible, in TeXmacs to mix two languages (so, two languages formatting) as it is in LaTeX with
  1. \begin{otherlanguage}{xx}

- do you have some experience with landscape mode 2-columns documents ? does it work fine ?
thanks
Vincent
