The problem is that a gif animation consists of several frames.
ImageMagick allows us to convert an animation into a collection of images.
This could be done by hand, but this is not extremely convenient,
since you would next have to include each of the images in
an 'anim-fixed' tag (Insert -> Animation -> Fixed) and
the sequence of all images inside an 'anim-compose' tag
(Insert -> Animation -> Compose).
So it would still be best to get ImageMagick working...
Note also that animations won't be exported to Pdf.
