Powers of primed variables

Today many questions :-)

If I insert n'^2 I obtain a typeset expression where the 2 at the exponent is pushed up with respect to the position it would have when entering n^2

This becomes ugly (in my opinion) when using fractions with primed and unprimed variables next to each other (e.g. <frac|1|n<rprime|'><rsup|2>>-<frac|1|n<rsup|2>>, see attached image).

Any other ways to write these expressions?

Thanks for any ideas,

Giovanni
