I experienced similar issues. The cursor disappear sometimes, but I do not
know how to reproduce it.

The problems with edit preable is however there always on recent builds. I do
not know when it appeared.
It seems that the OS intercepts that particular key combination as TeXmacs do
not seems to receive any event due to this key combination.

Accessing the preamble is a quite common operation. Can we have some button
on the UI for this?
Also would be nice to have an indication on screen that we are editing the
preamble or the source tree as not to cause confusion.
