If you can report on github would be better so that i keep more easily track of the progress (and you too).

Hi Massimiliano, and everyone,

This looks great, and I’ll test it extensively during the following weeks. For the moment, I installed the Cocoa version (only using macos for the time being) but I’ll try the Vue version also (or should I focuss on one or the other ?)

whatever you like. The Vue version is shared with other platforms so bug fixes will be more useful there. I’m trying to support Cocoa too because LLM make easy to do it. For the moment does not really have different features as the others.

Ok, I’ll install the Vue version, and check the cocoa version if/when I encounter a bug.

For the webassembly version, it looks great, and we’re getting close to allow those of my students to use their iPad to browse the documents I made available to them. Weirdly enough, it seems nothing on the menus has any effect (but it works on my macbook) (I tried safari and brave browsers). It is possible though to use the left tab to add files and open them.

I haven’t tested it on an iPad. Bug reports are welcome.

Do you prefer me to submit one for what I reported here for reference ? (I of course will for subsequent bugs)

The most annoying problem is the scrolling through a document. It seems impossible to scroll without an external mouse/trackpad (I suppose it works with a magic trackpad connected to the ipad, I couldn't test it yet, as I am not home and have not a trackpad nearby, but I could scroll through a document on my ipad using continuity with my macbook trackpad)

you have a scrolling handle on the left, this should work.

The handle is on the right on my iPad (and is always visible), but unfortunately, I can’t move it neither with a finger, nor with the iPad pencil. But with an external pointing device such as a bluetooth mice (not sure what is compatible with the iPad) or trackpad, it should work, I suppose, as it works with continuity and my macbook.

Double finger gesture does not work?

Nope. It seems it selects portions of the text, albeit very slowly (so you see different part of the text being selected seconds after you interacted with the screen.)

But it should work with a magic trackpad (it works with my macbook trackpad through continuity).

Btw, you don’t have access to a keyboard either, unless of course you have an external, physical device connected (no problem entering text with the keyboard of my macbook, again using continuity…). Not that much of a problem, as entering text and formulas with the touchscreen keyboard of an iPad would be a pain… Not sure though how usable would be a magic keyboard as regards the function keys though.

Best regards,

Pierre-Henri
