A quick look at http://www.texmacs.org/ shows that the support of
maxima-5.10.0 first appeared in TeXmacs-1.0.6.7. By the way, the support of
the newer maxima-5.11.0 only exists in cvs TeXmacs.

You can get the files belonging to the maxima plugin from the TeXmacs cvs,
and replace those from TeXmacs-1.0.6.6 by the new ones.

There is indeed another problem with maxima, since several
weeks, when I get the sources & compile from CVS, when
starting TeXmacs afterwards, I obtain :
