Yes, compilation is no problem for me.

If you want me to check the images, please put them somewhere on the web,
rather than sending them as an attachment (which will probably be way to
large).

Note: if my memory is right, Alvaro Cantero Tejero also experienced
problems with large image files in his PhD. When trying to allocate
strings of length >= 128Mb, there seemed to be a problem with Guile.
The generated postscript file might also become so large that
some other programs might no longer be able to handle it.
Remedy: simplify your images...
