Here are just a few comments about the cocoa version of TeXmacs. This
was installed on OSX using fink (it is version 1.0.7.2). I know that
the behaviour I'm reporting probably isn't relevant for TeXmacs
development, but still - if someone tries to use it, it might be
relevant to them....

On fink, the cocoa version of TeXmacs is installed in
/sw/Applications/Texmacs.app

* For some reason, TeXmacs behaves differently if you double-click on
the app icon, or you start it from the command line using
/sw/Applications/TeXmacs.app/Contents/MacOS/TeXmacs
The command line version works better - you can see included images.
In the version started by clicking on the app, images appear empty. I
suspect this is a problem with PATH - finding gs.

* It seems that dialogs look for the wrong extensions, or specify old
vs. new file wrongly.

Thus,
Opening a file (file->load...) lets me chose a file with extension
.tm, but it behaves like a "new file" dialog - so if I
chose an existing file, a dialog comes up saying that the file already
exists, and asks if I want to overwrite it.

Insert image only accepts files with the extension ".tm", instead of
graphics files.

* Something doesn't work quite right with mouse clicks. Clicking in a
certain region seems to behave like a double-click or a click-drag.
Once that happens, it is pretty much impossible to move the cursor
using the mouse, only with the arrows keys. (But it is very hard to
use TeXmacs using only arrow keys)

* Copy and paste works nicely between TeXmacs and OSX. You have to
chose menu->edit->copy or esc-w, and not edit->copy or apple-c.
Copying figures doesn't seem to work, yet.
