i just tried now
i wrote
<\assign then [enter] then chemin|/Users/myName/Desktop/toto
and then
<\image then [enter] then x>to.pdf|3cm|||>
the result is a ? symbol in a square
i precize that there is a file to.pdf in a "toto" folder on the Desktop
