Don't seems that texmacs is aware that maxima is installed.
I was not aware of the DMG for Maxima.
One must tell TeXmacs the location where Maxima was installed.
This can be done by doing
export PATH=/Applications/Maxima.app/Contents/Resources/maxima/bin/:PATH
before launching TeXmacs. I did the necessary in the SVN version
to make this more automatic.
My fix actually required some tweeking, because of Andrey's code
to handle several versions of Maxima. I also experienced a bug
with the latest version of maxima: there seems to be an undefined
variable TEXPORT. I have the memory of seeing some previous posts
on this issue; has this matter been solved? Andrey?
Not too recent dmg versions of Maxima should work modulo the above trick.
