Thanks for the reminder, Miguel.

In fact the fix proposed by Francois induces an error on my system,
so I reverted it. A more robust fix should be proposed.

I also noticed some other problems. One old standing was is
a half dozen of warning messages when starting up Maxima.
I applied a patch by John Lapeyre that I found on the web,
which seems to fix this problem.

Yet another problem is the apparent change of semantics of
the 'myprinc' function, which used to take one argument and
suddenly takes two arguments in recent versions.
I do not know enough of Lisp to fix that in a clean way.

One final problem is that some spurious whitespace is sent to
TeXmacs in an apparently random way. For instance:

TeXmacs] debug-io,
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TeXmacs] debug-io, [INPUT]diff(x^x,x,4);
TeXmacs] debug-io,
TeXmacs] debug-io, [BEGIN]latex:$\displaystyle \mbox{\tt\red(\mathrm{\%o4})
\black}x^{x-1}\*
TeXmacs] debug-io, \left(\log
\left(x\right)+{{x-1}\over{x}}\right)^2+x^{x}\*\left(
TeXmacs] debug-io, \log \left(x\right)+1\right)^4+3\*x^{x-1}\*\left(\log
\left(x\right)
TeXmacs] debug-io, +1\right)^2+2\*x^{x-1}\*\left(\log
\left(x\right)+1\right)\*\left(
TeXmacs] debug-io, \log
\left(x\right)+{{x-1}\over{x}}\right)+\left({{2}\over{x}}-{{x-1
TeXmacs] debug-io, }\over{x^2}}\right)\*x^{x-1}+2\*x^{x-2}$[END]
TeXmacs] debug-io, [BEGIN]channel:prompt[END][BEGIN]latex:\red
(\mathrm{\%i}5) \black[END][END]
TeXmacs] debug-io,
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The problem here is the whitespace between the [INPUT] line and [BEGIN],
which leads to an ugly output. Maybe Andrey knows how to fix this bug,
as well as the other ones.

Best wishes, --Joris
