Hi all,

Since a few days, TeXmacs has been "frozen". This means that
no essentially new features will be added until the first
official stable release 1.0. All help on the following things
would be very much appreciated:

1. Bug reports: all major bugs should be fixed in version 1.0.

2. Important (and moderately easily fixed) annoying behaviour
of TeXmacs. For instance, we still plan to add an indicator
when TeXmacs is busy with loading or generating fonts before
the release 1.0.

3. If you know anyone who might be willing to write a small
article about TeXmacs (between 1/2 a page and 3 pages)
in a magazine about GNU/Linux or a scientific journal,
please send us the email address of this person.
It would be nice if the first official announcement
of a stable version could reach a maximal number of
potentially interested people.

Thanks,

Joris
