This patch will be applied later, but the bug does not seem very severe to me.

This is an annoying bug, which you should have put on the bug list at alqua.
It is not sufficiently critical to delay the release of version 1.0 any
further.

This "bug" would demand to much time to be corrected now.
Also, it is not very clear how to correct it.

So, since nobody found a really critical bug (i.e. texmacs hangs when
you launch it), I will proceed with the release.
