I think I know what the problem is. Maxima 5.9 (rc3 in my case)
is installing the macros into /usr/local/share/maxima/5.9.0rc3/share/
or /usr/share/maxima/5.9.0rc3/share/. The maxima binary takes this
changes into account, however TeXmacs looks in the directories
conform with versions of Maxima prior to 5.9. As you have 5.6
there is no problem...
Is there any way to change the path settings within the configuration
options? Or do I have to recompile TeXmacs with changes in the code?
Thanks again for your help.
Best,
Michael
