Thanks for this instructive and voluminous contribution.
Do you allow me to put this on the texmacs-doc site,
under the GNU FDL License?

In fact, it might also be interesting to cut your documentation
into pieces, so as to yield small howto's for each computer
algebra system that you mention. For this, it might be a good
idea to create an account on Savannah, so that we can give
you write access to the documentation system.

Great; we might put that directly on texmacs.org.
